Kyle Morck is a Boise-based filmmaker and co-director of the nonprofit performing arts organization LED. With LED, he has co-created works including Waters Into Wilderness, This Way to the Egress, Intergalactic Mixtape, Artificial Flowers, and the upcoming Jabberwock. LED’s work has been performed throughout the the country, including performances at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Texas.
As a filmmaker, his work has screened throughout the US and on major online outlets. He’s directed one feature-length film, a handful of narrative short films, and a growing collection of dance films created with LED. He also worked as producer and cinematographer on the feature-length documentary Gravity Hero, directed by Trey McIntyre, which recently premiered at the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
Kyle's work has been featured in publications including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Dance Magazine and Slate. In 2018, he was awarded a Fellowship in Performing & Media Arts by the Idaho Commission on the Arts.
